Our company has been growing steadily since its foundation in 2010. Starting with 6 employees, over 25 colleagues are currently employed at
Six colleagues work in our development department and are responsible for further development and improvement of our products (microfocus X-ray tubes), as well as the development of the associated operating and control software.
The largest area is our production with twelve colleagues. They assemble X-ray tubes, put them into operation, identify areas for improvement and, together with logistics, prepare the shipment of the X-ray system, which includes not only the X-ray tube but also several other components. Our service department, with currently three colleagues, takes care of commissioning, maintenance and repairs of our systems at the customers site.
Our colleagues in development, production and service have qualifications as physicists, precision mechanics, technicians, electricians, mechatronics engineers and software developers.
Eight colleagues work in the commercial area, which includes management, purchasing, logistics, accounting, marketing and sales departments. Every three years,
Current job vacancies: Head of Sales & Product Manager (m/f/d) – Microfocus X-Ray Tubes
Location: Siemensstraße 26, 30827 Garbsen, Germany
Work shedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Your Responsibilities:
-
- Lead and manage the Sales and Sales Administration departments, both functionally and disciplinarily
- Further development of the sales organization and optimize sales-related processes
- Actively manage and develop national and international customer relationships outside the APAC region
- Conduct customer visits, deliver presentations, and lead contract negotiations
- Represent the company at international trade fairs and industry events
- Analyze markets, customer requirements, technology trends, and competitive activities
- Identify new business opportunities and develop appropriate market penetration strategies
- Develop and continuously enhance the product strategy for our X-ray tube portfolio
- Prepare business cases and well-founded decision proposals for executive management
- Manage the product lifecycle from market introduction through to product discontinuation
- Collaborate closely with Research & Development to define and prioritize product requirements
- Ensure a seamless flow of information between the market, sales, and engineering
Your Profile:

- A successfully completed technical degree, for example in mechanical engineering, physics, or electrical engineering
- Several years of professional experience in technical sales, product management, or business development in the X-ray, CT, and measurement technology industries
- A thorough understanding of technically sophisticated products and their applications
- Experience conducting market and competitive analyses as well as developing product strategies
- Experience in international sales and direct customer contact
- Experience leading employees or teams
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a strong focus on customers and the market
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and confidence in an international setting
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis

Current job vacancies: Development Engineer (m/f/d) – Microfocus X-Ray Tubes
Location: Siemensstraße 26, 30827 Garbsen, Germany
Work shedule: Full-time (40 hours or 37,5 hours per week)
Your Responsibilities:

- Development and design of microfocus X-ray tubes and their components through to series production readiness
- Simulation of electrostatic high-voltage fields, electron trajectories (particle tracing) in electrostatic and electromagnetic fields, as well as heat transfer and thermal expansion using COMSOL Multiphysics
- Verification and validation of simulations, including optimization of simulation results
- Data analysis, development of new technical concepts, and implementation in collaboration with the team at the product level
- Planning and execution of experimental investigations and test programs
Your Profile:
-
- Completed university degree (Master’s level) in Physics, preferably with a specialization in Applied Physics or Engineering Physics
- Knowledge of, or academic focus in, at least one of the following areas: electron optics, high-voltage engineering, vacuum technology, experimental physics, electron microscopy, or X-ray-based measurement techniques
- Practical experience in multiphysics simulation is an advantage (COMSOL, ANSYS, CST, SIMION or comparable software)
- Experience with modern CAD systems, preferably Inventor 3D
- Strong interest in developing complex physical systems – from simulation and design through to production-ready implementation
- High level of self-motivation and commitment
- Structured, independent, and pragmatic approach to work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
